About
About SI Build Lab
SI Build Lab publishes hands-on tests of new Super Intelligence (SI) tools and GitHub projects, for builders in the US. We say SI for the field. Company, product and repository names stay exactly as their owners write them.
What SI means here
SI stands for Super Intelligence. It is our shorthand for the new generation of models and the tools built on them. When a tool has a name, we use the name.
How we test
- We run projects in an isolated container with no keys and no accounts.
- We record versions, commit hashes and dates, so you can repeat the test.
- Every claim links to a source. If we did not run something, we say "Not tested yet".
- Every article has a Limits section.
Editorial rules
- A tier: important and testable. These get a full article and, when we can demonstrate them, a video.
- B tier: worth reading, but not worth a video. These get an article.
- Roundups: verified items that need only a line go into the weekly roundup.
- Two-stage verification: a first pass checks the source; a second pass compares each sentence of the draft with the source. A draft that fails twice is not published.
